Deep Sea Fishing & Reef Fishing

Blue Horizon Fly Fishing focuses on servicing the traveling angler who desires the perfect saltwater fly fishing experience, but we recognize that not everyone has the same needs. While fly anglers love to catch fish, they are often satisfied with the challenge of the hunt. Fly fishing enthusiasts don’t always base the success of the day by the number of fish they catch, but non-fly anglers do. That is why we also offer reef fishing and deep sea fishing charters on the Weak Moment. 

For Reef Fishing and Deep Sea Fishing Trips, we use conventional fishing gear and tackle and angling is done either trolling, bottom fishing, or spin casting with artificial lures and/or bait. One big difference to fly fishing, is the targets. While Reef Fishing and Deep Sea Fishing, we rarely catch bonefish, permit or tarpon. More common we catch snapper, grouper, jacks, barracudas, mackerel, wahoo, tuna, billfish and other pelagic species.
